Re: Club Picnic and Fireworks

52nd Anniversary and Membership Appreciation Picnic

The Rockdale Rod & Gun Club would like to invite all members and their families to a Club Picnic on Sunday July 6th. We ask you to please bring a dish to pass, lawn chairs, fishing poles, horseshoes, frisbees, any lawn games etc. We would like to ask anyone that wants to use the trap or rifle range to do so prior to two o’clock. There will be a moratorium on all shooting during the picnic.
We plan to eat around four o’clock. The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages. We are also planning on having bar-b-qued pork. Please let us know how many plan on attending, so we can judge the quantity of food and beverage we need to order.
This picnic is in appreciation of all the hard work done by the members this past year and for all of the previous years. Depending on the weather, a fireworks display will be conducted at dusk for your entertainment. If you plan to attend, we ask you to let one of the following people know as soon as possible, or send a letter to the address below.

President                   Eddie Cotton              783-2176
Vice President            Jim Karl                       563-1917
Secretary                   K.O.Davis                   967-4831
Treasurer                   Pat Hawkins                895-6437
